SciScroll

SciScroll started as a simple experiment when I still planned a career as a web-developer. I had wanted to create a way to have animations on my personal site that was dependent on the users scrolling. It was decided to be to tacky to have on my personal portfolio but with this came an even more brilliant idea. I had grown sick of the way science was being taught on the web. If you wanted to learn something new, you'd watch a YouTube video and often have to pause because the video is explaining to fast or simply loose interest because the video is explaining to slow. This was what sparked the idea of SciScroll.

SciScroll is an educational website that explains scientific concepts through a medium I call "Scroll Stories." These stories explain challenging concepts and are controlled by the speed at which the user scrolls down the page. This allows any individual to learn at their speed through a beautifully styled, elegantly written ScrollStory.
