Hello! I'm Emilio, an undergraduate student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, studying Aerospace Engineering. My research interest include Entry Descent and Landing systems, DeepSpace mission design, control systems and advanced space propulsion. I take great pride in my work as both a researcher and student for the university. Outside of academics, I'm a long-distance bicyclist with my longest tour being 970 miles! I conduct research and development on the multi-mode electrospray propulsion system as the lead thermal investigator. To explore my research follow this link.
First year physics courses at UIUC are a thrilling experience to say the least. Every class is packed with demonstrations to help solidify a students understanding in the subject. My job is to set up these demos that help so many students learn.
